You’ll notice a new byline in the SC Times starting this week as Jim Shilander has joined our staff as San Clemente City Editor. Jim takes over the reins from Stacie Galang, who has accepted an exciting opportunity with the Ventura County Star daily newspaper and has departed after serving the town and the SC Times admirably for the past 18 months. While Stacie’s warm smile and thoughtful journalistic approach will be missed, I’m thrilled to welcome Jim to our family. Jim has extensive community media journalism experience and will become a quick fixture out and about in San Clemente.
