11-10 and the Register is reporting yet again new safety violations that lasted 27 years and problems with the generators. One issue after another. If that plant is fired up again, our health and certainly our property values are at risk.

The plant is an antique— it should have been shut down by now. It leaks radiation, it discharges radiation into the atmosphere and it is surrounded now by an above ground HUGE nuclear waste dump. It sits in a Tsunami zone, on an earthquake fault and next to a huge population center.

There is NO longitudinal study of cancer rates around the plant. We continue to live in ignorance and denial.

When will our city council at least take a symbolic and important stand to close the dangerous relic??????????????????????????

Edison does not have to worry about the evac as much as this-- Shut down that leaky old spewing pile of death before alot of us get hurt. This is ridiculous at this point. It's over. It was set to be shut down by next year anyway!
