Soul Food Features Maani Performance

Soul Food/Music and the Faith will hold a performance November 18.
Soul Food is a free program where people of all faiths, beliefs and backgrounds can come together to reflect on and celebrate diversity.
The performer at this month’s event is Nasim Maani from Arizona. Maani grew up living in different cultures (Iran, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, New Zealand and the United States). Maani blends folk, jazz and world music into a mix of her own. Her album, “The Longing,” is the result of two years of her international cooperation with musicians and studios in Austria and the United States.

The event begins at 11 a.m. Refreshments will follow the program. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. at the Baha’i Center of San Clemente, 3316 Avenida del Presidente.
