San Clemente surfer Jason Murray is helping to lead an effort to provide relief for victims of Hurricane Sandy in new York and New Jersey.
Murray has partnered with Waves for Water, which itself has partnered with Surfer’s Environmental Alliance, ELECTRIC, Steele Logistics and a number of California surf shops to collect canned goods and other items for those needing help.

General Supplies:
Facemasks, respirators, contractor trash bags, mops, brooms, batteries, dog/cat food, utility knives, Thermoses, rock salt, shovels, candles, matches, bleach, heavy duty hand soap, rubber gloves, rubber boots, work gloves, shovels, buckets, plastic bins, scrub brushes, household cleaners, dustpans, hammers, tools, cordless power tools, pry bars, rakes, moving boxes
