Thieves stole wiring from Vista Hermosa Sports Park Sunday, leading to the cancellation of games and practices at the facility.
The wiring was stolen from valve boxes for the lights at the soccer fields.
As a result of the theft, practices and games were cancelled Monday and Tuesday. San Clemente Police Services is investigating the theft.
