Lecture on Veterans Benefits

San Clemente war veterans and surviving spouses can receive information on long term care insurance at a lecture at San Clemente Villas Tuesday.

The lecture is being presented by American Veterans Aid consultants Deron Stokes and Brian Chu of American Veterans Aid, Long Term Care Insurance  covers a little known Department of Veterans Aid program called the “Aid and Attendance Benefit.”

The program benefits to war era veterans include: a single vet receiving up to $1,700 per month, a married vet with spouse receiving up to $2,019 per month, and a surviving spouse, up to $1,094 per month, all tax free. The lecture is being held at 6:30 p.m. at San Clemente Villas

This benefit is used to help cover a qualified veteran’s long term care costs in an assisted living community. Additional information on the program is available at www.americanveteransaid.com.

    VeteranAid.org is the most respected resource on the topic of the VA’s Improved Pension.

    We highly recommend that a great starting point to learn more would be to visit the site.
