OC Angels helps provide financial support for two of the orphanages, which allows for the purchase of food and gifts for the children living in the orphanages. San Clemente resident Sandy Rabahieh organized the effort after spending a week with the children living in the orphanages. Rabahieh said by providing funds directly to the nuns, they could avoid the potential dangers of crossing through violent areas while transporting gifts or other goods.

Rabahieh, an agent with Surterre Properties reached out to a number of business people connected to her real estate business before the holidays to provide funds. Among them were Terri Glenn of Escrow Source, Lynne Suzanski of All Signs and Graphics, Bob Fox of Escrow Leaders, Kim Cosbey of Gift Baskets by K.C. and Company, Kathleen Garito of KG Interior Designs and Candy Babcock of First American NHD.
