South Coast Singers is holding open auditions for their spring season later this month. Auditions will be held Tuesday evening, February 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Dana Hills High School in the choir room. Weekly rehearsals for their mid June concerts will start the following Tuesday evening 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at this same location.
South Coast Singers is also sponsoring the 2013 annual Stars of Tomorrow vocal scholarship competition. Forty high school students from south Orange County will be auditioned. Eighteen will advance to the finals.
Students can compete in either the musical theater or classical categories. The competition finals and the scholarships will be awarded on Friday, March 26, at 7 p.m. at the Laguna Hills Community Center.
