Members of Girl Scout Troop No. 1536 recently designed, built and stocked two floor-to-ceiling bookshelves for the Family Assistant Ministries’ Gilchrist House Transitional Shelter as part of their Silver Award project, “Operation Bookshelf.”
The girls also collected enough books to fill the shelves from top to bottom for the mothers and children who live at GH while working towards self-sufficiency.
