Farnsworth takes silver and bronze at West Nationals

San Clemente’s Haley Farnsworth, a sixth grader at BAMS, spent her spring break in Minneapolis at the University of Minnesota competing at the USA Diving Junior West Nationals. The top six junior divers from the five western regions gathered here to compete for the top three spots on 1-and 3-meter springboard. Thirty girls competed in the 12-13 age group on each event with the top three place finishers awarded automatic qualification to the USA Diving Junior Olympic Summer Nationals. Farnsworth, diver for the Mission Viejo Nadadore Dive team, went on to place second on 3 meter and third on 1 meter, achieving personal best scores on each event.
