The Friends of San Clemente Foundation held their second annual Benefit Golf Tournament in support of local youth recreation programs on Friday, July 13 at the San Clemente Municipal Golf Course. More than 110 players participated in the event, which raised nearly $20,000. The proceeds will go toward classes and programs such as swimming, dance, drama, skateboarding and surfing, as well as funding for the second phase of Courtney’s Sandcastle project at Vista Hermosa Sports Park.
