What surprised you the most about the military?
The thing that surprised me the most is the amount of time it takes to prepare for the training and deployments. I was also surprised by the amount of time we spent traveling as well.
What’s your fondest memory of service so far?
My fondest memory would have to be the culmination of Steel Knight, a training exercise we did in Twentynine Palms. I also enjoy getting to go to March Air Force Base, the Naval Base in San Diego and Miramar Air Station to help other units.
What have you done to prepare yourself for the deployment?
I have made sure my family is prepared by completing all the administrative tasks set forth by headquarters and service company.

Some of my favorite hobbies are hunting and fishing. I also enjoy boating and playing the guitar. The thing I enjoy the most would be carpentry and art.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years, I see myself with a degree in criminal justice. I would like to work as a police officer in Pittsburgh, Penn. or Chicago, Ill.
