SUPPORT THIS INDEPENDENT JOURNALISM
The article you’re about to read is from our reporters doing their important work — investigating, researching, and writing their stories. We want to provide informative and inspirational stories that connect you to the people, issues and opportunities within our community. Journalism requires lots of resources. Today, our business model has been interrupted by the pandemic; the vast majority of our advertisers’ businesses have been impacted. That’s why the SC Times is now turning to you for financial support. Learn more about our new Insider’s program here. Thank you.
This goofy guy is Comet, a 3-year-old Saint
Bernard mix with a heart of gold. Comet initially arrived at the shelter
in very poor condition, but through the exceptional care of shelter staff and
volunteers, he has gained more than 25 pounds and is now in great health. Comet
is essentially an overgrown lap dog and loves to snuggle. He is a strong
and active dog and would do best with an experienced owner.
If you would
like to know more about Comet, please call the San Clemente/Dana Point Animal
Shelter at 949.492.1617 or visit with him at 221 Avenida Fabricante, San
Clemente.
