Kolohe Andino of San Clemente on October 2 advanced into Round 3 of the Quiksilver Pro France, Hossegor at La Graviere.
Andino earned his first victory since coming back from a mid-year injury by defeating Australian Josh Kerr in a low scoring Round 2, 9.10 to 4.90.
Quiksilver Pro France is Stop No. 7 of 11 on the ASP World Championship Tour and includes the world’s Top 32 surfers plus two wildcards.
Gabriel Medina (BRA) is the defending champion while Mick Fanning (AUS) is the current ratings leader.
