SCSQUARED halfBoys & Girls Club of the South Coast Area has established the Mark Schmitt College Bound Program. The program seeks current high school students to enroll in the program. Criteria for admission includes a desire to go to college and a willingness to do the work necessary to achieve that goal. Priority will be given to high school freshmen and sophomores, but juniors and seniors will be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis. Benefits include visits to college campuses throughout Southern California, help with developing an academic strategy, assistance with identifying scholarship and financial aid opportunities, academic and study skills-building workshops, career development presentations and workshops as well as many similar
