San Clemente Dance & Performing Arts Center celebrated its 21st anniversary on Monday, Aug. 15.
According to the studio’s website, the center was founded in 1995 by Judy Corfman Kelly.
“Her love of dance, high standards of teaching and belief in addressing the individual needs of each student is carried on by her husband, David A. Kelly,” said Gretchen Akers, the director of the dance studio. “It is a historic milestone for us and the dance community here in San Clemente.”
The center offers classes of various disciplines of dance, including ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop and more. They also host birthday parties and have a homework area.
The center celebrated the occasion with some of its students on Monday.
