San Clemente Times
The nomination period for the three city of San Clemente offices (City Council, City Treasurer and City Clerk) closed at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 12. The statuses of the candidates for the Nov.r 8 election are listed below:
City Council (two seats)
Steve Swartz – Qualified for Ballot
Chris Hamm – Qualified for Ballot
Robert “Bob” Baker – Qualified for Ballot
Dan Bane – Filed today. The Registrar of Voters has not yet validated the signatures on his nomination paper.
Pamela Joy Glass – Filed today. The Registrar of Voters has not yet validated the signatures on her nomination paper.
Mikii Rathmann – Filed today. The Registrar of Voters has not yet validated the signatures on her nomination paper.
Wayne Eggleston and David Shahoin pulled nomination papers, but failed to file by today’s 5:00 p.m. deadline.
City Treasurer (one seat)
Mark A. Taylor – Qualified for Ballot
City Clerk (one seat)
Joanne Baade – Qualified for Ballot
The City Clerk will announce whether the three City Council candidates who filed on Friday, Aug. 12, qualified for the ballot as soon as that information becomes available. The Secretary of State will draw the randomized alphabet on Thursday, Aug. 18, which will determine the order in which candidates will appear on the ballot.
