The City of San Clemente will host a community workshop on Jan. 30 to solicit public input and help set priorities for the five-year Consolidated Plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

The workshop is scheduled for 6-7 p.m. in the Ole Hanson Fireside Room at the San Clemente Community Center. Residents, service providers and professionals are invited to discuss how CDBG funds can be utilized to meet the needs of the low- and moderate-income community in San Clemente, the city said in a press release.

According to the city, it receives approximately $350,000 in CDBG funds each year from the State Department of Housing and Urban Development for housing and community development projects.
