The San Clemente Garden club hosted its annual GardenFest on Saturday, April 9 at the Community Center, with succulents, program coordinators and a sale of miscellaneous garden items.

People were able to purchase a variety of plants during the event, and children were able to explore a butterfly habitat, face painting, arts and crafts as well as educational material on gardening.

Looking forward, the San Clemente Garden Club’s 2016 Garden Tour will take place for Saturday, June 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour includes selected coastal gardens. Advance tickets are available through May 30 for $30. A “carpool special” of four tickets is offered for $100. To order tickets, visit www.sanclementegardenclub.com and pay online with PayPal or download the ticket order form, complete and mail with check payable to San Clemente Garden Club to: Bette Langford, 102 Calle Cuervo, San Clemente, CA 92672.  For more information call Bette Langford at 949.498.3317 or email blang41096@aol.com.
