During the equinox, the celestial equator is in alignment with the sun. All the influences upon the planet are in balance. Light and dark are equal (“Equinox” = “Equal Night” in Latin). The significance of equinox for us is that on this day the masculine and the feminine are balanced. In the yogic philosophy, this day is seen as a day when one has the best possibility of rising above the limitations and the compulsions of one’s physical desires. Let us ponder this as we recline back onto a bed of good vibrations! See you there!
