Open Casa: Otherworldly Glaciers by Mary Beierle

September 22, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free with price of admission

The opening reception for this exhibition will take place at Toast to the Casa, our annual fundraiser gala. Purchase tickets here.

Artist Mary Beierle grew up alongside the Los Angeles Mountains and has trekked throughout the mountains and glaciers of the American West. The tectonic shifts and visual effect in that rugged terrain are major influences in her work.
Her “Monolith” sculptures, which resemble glaciers, emerge and recede in space. With pieces ranging in size from miniature to massive, Beierle creates art that viewers can touch, peer into, and encounter from various perspectives.

About Mary Beierle
