San Clemente Beach Barbell Club is a monthly club that meets at San Clemente Gym every first Wednesday of the month 7pm-9pm. The SCBBC is a dedicated group of enthusiastic and like-minded lifters who meet to improve and teach the art of lifting. Our group varies in skill level and experience and includes those that are just learning to lift, those that may be training in preparation for competitions, and those veteran skilled lifters who have spent years lifting.
SCBBC prides itself in not only on excelling at every aspect of lifting techniques, but also as a family that supports each other and shares decades of skill and knowledge to new and veteran lifters of every level. Our members are able to lift and learn under the tutelage of Instructor Drew Chilcott and the other guest coaches each class. Every month you will have a chance to hone your technique, correct your weaknesses, and plan out your training so that you are at the peak of your lifting abilities, and you’ll have some time at make friends with an incredible group of guys and gals who are dedicating to continuing the old school values and techniques of powerlifting.
