Michelle Wilson and Kevin Kellerman of Keller Williams OC Coastal Realty will be hosting a free homebuyer’s one-hour seminar Tuesday, September 25, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the community center at the new Aquatic Center in Talega. The event is called “How to Purchase a Home in Today’s Market”, and, is open to the community. The purpose of the seminar is to educate people on what is involved in purchasing a home, including information on lending as well as home inspections. There will also be information on all of the basics of purchasing, explaining what a short sale means, what a bank-owned property means, the offer process, the escrow process, and, of course, what is going on in the market right now. Today’s market is rapidly shifting and buyers (and sellers) need to know, now more than ever, what that means to them. Is it still a buyer’s market? Is it a seller’s market? We will be going over these hot topics in the seminar. Matt and Jonny Moore from AmeriFirst Financial will also available to educate guests on qualifying for home loans, interest rates, renting versus buying, etc. Jack Clausen of JLC Inspections will be discussing the importance of a home inspection and explaining exactly what is involved. He will also have his highly trained mold detection dog with him and will be doing a live demonstration of how his “partner” finds mold in homes.
Refreshments will be served. Seating is limited so an RSVP is required. The first 20 attendees will be given a Starbucks gift card as well. Further questions about this event can be directed to either Michelle Wilson 949.482.5505 or Kevin Kellerman 949.400.8646.
