During a two-session commencement ceremony on Thursday, June 3, more than 700 San Clemente High seniors received their diplomas, bidding farewell to a tumultuous school year plagued by pandemic-related restrictions.
The face-to-face commencement ceremonies marked a return to tradition following last year’s drive-through graduations, which local schools held because of high COVID-19 metrics.
The Class of 2021 underwent a mostly hybrid learning model for classes, mixing online and in-person instruction.
