I want to give kudos to San Clemente High School principal Chris Carter. This is a guy who stepped into a very volatile and tough position last year, and he has done a tremendous job. Having been to a few of the football games, I cannot get over how high the school spirit is among the student body. It is evident these kids are proud to be part of SCHS.

I have had a few dealings with Mr. Carter, and he has been nothing but professional and amazingly attentive, always following through with whatever he says he is going to do.

Thanks for doing a great job, Mr. Carter.

  • The one town one team mindset is where the spirit and pride come from at SCHS.

Keep in mind that Carter is the only remaining HS principal since May 2015 because of Superintendent Vital.

Some may like him compared to the one we had before Mike Halt. But make no mistake, he’s no Mike Halt.

Under Mike Halt, the kids were inspired by his true leadership.
