Melinda Stone claimed that freeway signs are not a blight, but an Internet search shows hundreds of cities getting rid of them because they are. Then she stated (in the March 24-30 edition of San Clemente Times) many San Clemente residents are working overtime to pay their water bill. Is she one of them? If not, could she please cite some examples?
Steve Swartz stated the City Council lacks diversity because a majority live in one part of town. He provides no evidence for how residents are harmed by where some councilmembers live. By his definition, the council also lacks diversity because a majority are men. His fuzzy logic would get an F in a critical thinking class.
