Because of permitting, the San Clemente Library soft opening that is scheduled for Monday has now been described as “tentative” by library officials.
“Everything is tentative based on permits and approvals,” said Karen Wall, the San Clemente branch librarian. “We can be scheduled for permits and final walkthroughs, but we can’t anticipate things won’t be a problem. There’s nothing we can do. We can’t open if we don’t have an occupancy permit.”
