A second armed robbery in two days in San Clemente took place Wednesday night at the 76 gas station at 606 Camino De Los Mares.

Orange County Sheriff’s Department public information officer Lt. Jeff Hallock said the incident that took place Tuesday at a CVS Pharmacy in San Clemente and the Wednesday night incident are not likely related.

Hallock said a Caucasian man in his late teens or early 20s came into the gas station about 11 p.m. and confronted the clerk with a semi-automatic handgun. The man took some money and left the business on foot. He was wearing all black clothing.

The amount of money he stole was not readily available as of Thursday afternoon.

The man is believed to be 5-feet, 7 or 8 inches and between 130 and 135 pounds.
