Nick Stevens, 22, between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-6, estimated 120 pounds, dirty blonde hair, has been reported by multiple family members and friends as missing.

Stevens was reported as last seen at approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6 at the 7-Eleven at 1802 N. El Camino Real. Family members said he works at C2 Collaborative in San Clemente, but the San Clemente Times has not been able to reach employers of the business at this time.

Stevens was wearing a black or dark gray hoodie the last time he was seen and may have a backpack with him, family members said.

Family members also said they have filed a missing person’s report with San Clemente Police Services.

If anyone has information regarding Stevens’ whereabouts, call Orange County Sheriff’s Department at 714.647.7000 or 949.770.6011. The number 585.615.4285 is a number published by the family on various social media sites.

Update (2 p.m., Nov. 12):

Family members said they have hired a private investigator or investigators to search for Stevens. A GoFundMe site has been set up to help with the investigators’ costs at www.gofundme.com/nickstevens. Orange County Sheriff’s Department sent a Tweet at 1:55 p.m. on Nov. 12 regarding Stevens’ disappearance.

Update (11 a.m., Nov. 13): OCSD deputies said they have sent out personnel to comb the San Clemente area from the coastal region to areas around Avenida Pico. Sheriff’s deputies said Stevens was dropped off by an Uber driver the night of Friday, Nov. 6 at the 7-Eleven in North Beach in San Clemenete. Family members said he had been with some people during the night, but because he may have been intoxicated at the time he was unable to remember where he lived. His car was still at his place of employment on the following Monday, Nov. 9 and no one answered the door when OCSD conducted a welfare check on Tuesday, Nov. 10.  Stevens has lived in San Clemente for about two months, family members said.

Editor’s note: This is a developing story. More details will be provided when they become available.
