As of Wednesday, Jan. 6, flash flood warnings were in effect until 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, but according to NASA, the effects of El Niño weather patterns are not showing signs of letting up anytime soon. Long-term forecasts predict more rain in the following week.
