A woman found dead in a truck in San Clemente Tuesday night appears to have been a transient, and there is currently no sign of foul play in her death, an Orange County Sheriff’s spokesperson said Thursday afternoon.
The woman was found Tuesday evening on the 2300 block of South El Camino Real, sheriff’s department public information officer Jim Amormino said. Amorminio said that after speaking with the county coroner, there appeared to be no obvious signs of foul play, and that an autopsy would be needed to determine the exact cause of the death.
The door of the truck had been left open by the owner, Amormino said.
