Nancy Mason of San Clemente passed away peacefully at home on February 26, 2018 at the age of 83 with her beloved husband Don and her caretaker Rosanna “Rose Angel” by her side.
Unforgettable to anyone that crossed her path, Nancy had a joyful and generous spirit. She loved life and lived each day to it’s fullest by counting her blessings every day. She prided herself in being a homemaker and mother which she said were her life’s calling. Her talents and creativity as a seamstress had been a big part of her life and that was evident in her home as well as the homes of many friends and family. Loving wife of Donald and devoted mother to Gary (Karlyne) Van Daele, Laurie (Paul) Klett, Elaine (Phil) Siebert, Wayne (Annette) Mason and Gail Mason (late Carlos). The proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren John, Jim, Sherry, Eden, Brian, Adam, Neil, James, Kyle, Cheryl, and the late Brian (Siebert) who preceded her in death. Great-grandmother of 16.
We have lost the light of our lives and a beacon for us all. Nancy will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She will surely be remembered for her friendly, outgoing personality as well as her colorful and matching outfits by all who knew her at the Dana Point Harbor.
A Celebration of life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 at La Ventura Event Center, located at 2316 South El Camino Real in San Clemente, CA.
