Valborg Josephine “Jo” Arons
Valborg Josephine “Jo” Arons (90), AKA “JoMamma,” passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Our family is comforted knowing that she is together again with her husband Richard “Dick” Arons, who preceded her in death almost 20 years ago on June 6th, 1998.
The Arons have been in San Clemente since 1951 and are the owners of South Coast Distributing Company. Jo touched many in our small community with her thoughtful and giving nature. As a mother of five boys and one girl, she was constantly involved in local activities. She loved music and to travel and was an avid painter whose work will be cherished for years to come.
Jo is survived by sons, Scott, Rick (Marina), Tom (Luci), Paul, Curt (Angel) and daughter Katie. She has three grandchildren, April, Adam and Kaila Arons and three great grandchildren Kayson and Karys Adams and Aidan Arons – all of San Clemente, CA.
Funeral services have been arranged to be at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church at 200 Avenida San Pablo, San Clemente, CA at 11:30am on Feb. 17th. The family requests in lieu of flowers, send donations to Our Savior’s Church.
