The morning commute on northbound Interstate 5 was briefly delayed due to two separate accidents, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The first accident involved two motorcycles near the Pacific Coast Highway interchange at 8:37 a.m., said CHP Officer Aaron Rothberg. One rider was taken to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo with moderate injuries. The crash was cleared just before 9:30 a.m.
The second incident involved six vehicles near the Ortega Highway interchange in San Juan Capistrano at 9:49 a.m. No injuries were reported and the accident was cleared by 10 a.m.
