On Tuesday, Sept. 8 an armed robbery was reported at 7:15 a.m. at a CVS Pharmacy, located at 638 Camino De Los Mares in San Clemente.
“The suspect entered the business and confronted a pharmacy employee, demanding prescription medication at gunpoint,” an Orange County Sheriff’s Department press release stated. “Based on the preliminary (report), it is believed the suspect is connected to another robbery of prescription medication on Aug. 5 from the Walgreens Pharmacy located on El Toro Road in Laguna Hills.”
The suspect was seen with a dark-colored handgun and stole a “quantity” of Oxycodone, according to the report.
The suspect has been described by police as a Caucasian or Hispanic man, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, about 150 pounds, wearing a black baseball cap, black clothing and a blue and white mask on his face. A photo of the suspect is available on the @OCSD Twitter page.
