SUSPICIOUS PERSON IN VEHICLE Avenida Rosa, 100 Block (3:21 a.m.) A caller reported that a women living in a red Volkswagen Jetta with her dog was being too noisy.
SUSPCIOUS PERSON Calle Vicente, 600 Block (12:59 a.m.) A caller reported that a man was wandering the neighborhood looking into parked cars. He left in a dark-colored Scion toward Avenida Vaquero.
Sunday, June 22
VANDALISM IN PROGRESS Camino De Los Mares/Calle Nuevo (10:08 p.m.) A man said a group of five juveniles drove by and threw something at his car and damaged it. They took off up the hill on Calle Nuevo.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON Avenida De Presidente/Avenida San Luis Rey (8:32 p.m.) A caller reported that a man was walking around dressed like a clown. He also had an umbrella.
DISTURBANCE Avenida Montalvo, 200 Block (5:08 p.m.) A man complained that his girlfriend was punching him and trying to choke him.
TRAFFIC HAZARD Cristianitos Road/Freeway-5 (12:20 p.m.) A semi-truck drove over the top of an unoccupied green Jeep.
CITIZEN ASSIST Avenida Pelayo, 100 Block (12:11 p.m.) The caller said her caregiver left her in the house alone and closed all of the windows and doors. She said she was not able to walk and said it was getting too hot inside the residence.
ILLEGAL PEDDLING North El Camino Real/Avenida Palizada (12:10 p.m.) Two transients were standing on the corner of the street yelling obscenities while asking for money.
ASSIST OUTSIDE AGENCY Avenida Pico, 900 Block (10:27 a.m.) A large mountain lion with a long tail was seen west of Walmart.
STOLEN VEHICLE Cristianitos Road/Interstate-5 (8:46 a.m.) A caller reported that while he was surfing, his keys and backpack were stolen. The thief then used the stolen keys to steal his blue Chevy Suburban.
DISTURBANCE Via Presa, 200 Block (12:51 a.m.) A drunken man was in his garage punching things and yelling.
DISTURBANCE Camino De Los Mares, 600 Block (12:17 a.m.) A caller reported some type of family drama going on in the parking lot. A woman was yelling at a man and then got into her vehicle and sped off. The man stayed in the parking lot and continued to yell.
WELFARE CHECK Avenida San Diego, 100 Block (12:05 a.m.) A caller reported a child had been screaming in a nearby apartment for the past 30 minutes.
Saturday, June 21
DISTURBANCE Las Posas, 1000 Block (11:57 p.m.) A man and a woman were fighting on Camino De Los Mares. The women accused the man of abusing her daughter and threatened to kill him.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON Camino Majodo/Costa Escondida (11:33 p.m.) A caller reported seeing a man going in and out of driveways while looking into peoples’ backyards.
BATTERY REPORT Plaza Estival, 400 Block (7:37 p.m.) A caller reported being assaulted by several juveniles skateboarding in the neighborhood. One of the juveniles’ mothers joined the assault as well.
KEEP THE PEACE Via Nada, 200 Block (6:33 p.m.) A man called police and said his daughter’s boyfriend was riding his skateboard drunk while holding a 1-year-old baby. The daughter’s boyfriend was refusing to put the baby down and the caller didn’t want to attempt to take the baby because the boyfriend was a “double black belt.”
SUSPICIOUS PERSON Calle Del Cerro, 1000 Block (6:29 p.m.) A caller reported seeing a man sell drugs out of his silver BMW.
DISTURBANCE Avenida Pico, 900 Block (3:14 p.m.) Skateboarders were heckling drivers in an Albertsons and Walmart parking lot. They were riding in front of moving cars and the caller was worried they were going to get hit.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON Avenida Victoria, 600 Block (11:08 a.m.) A lifeguard reported to police that a man wearing all black was standing at the base of the pier. The lifeguard feared the man was going to jump in front of a train.
Wednesday, June 18
DISTURBANCE Costa Maritima/Calle Polvorosa (9:16 p.m.) A group of juveniles was seen smoking marijuana and drinking while being very loud. The caller distinguished them from another younger separate group that wasn’t doing anything wrong.
DISTURBANCE Avenida Pico, 900 Block (7:01 p.m.) A Walmart manager called police saying there was a man with a shopping cart screaming profanity at customers. The man was seen heading into Loews.
DISTURBANCE El Camino Real, 3300 Block (12:31 a.m.) Two men were in an alley yelling and talking about killing each other. A lot of ethnic slurs were being shouted.
