Police were called to Poche Beach for two men setting up camp in the bushes.

One of the residents was reportedly threatening other housemates.
Monday, August 15
Camino De Los Mares, 600 Block (9:29 p.m.)
People in a black Chevrolet sports utility vehicle were parked in the caller’s spot and being verbally aggressive with the caller’s dad as they refused to move.
Puerta Del Sol, 1200 Block (8:39 p.m.)
A woman said on a 9-1-1 call that she was in a treatment center and “needed help.”
DEFRAUDING AN INNKEEPER
Avenida Victoria, 600 Block (8:03 p.m.)
A woman left the hotel without paying. She was last seen near the showers behind the location, wearing a green bathing suit.
El Camino Real, 400 Block (7:02 p.m.)
A man was suspected by the caller of driving under the influence. The man was sitting in his vehicle in front of a business.
Paseo Canos, 0 Block (6:09 p.m.)
Police were called to a man described to be in his late 20s to early 30s with long brown hair, a long beard, wearing a backwards baseball cap while riding a child’s fluorescent-orange scooter through the neighborhood.
El Camino Real, 500 Block (5:32 p.m.)
Police were called to reports of a man looking into vehicles while walking into traffic. The caller said he was almost struck by passing vehicles.
Avenida De Nogales, 1500 Block (5:15 p.m.)
A British man was walking around the neighborhood with his dog off the leash, and the caller said he was “confrontational.”
Avenida San Pablo/Avenida San Gabriel (5:11 p.m.)
A man wearing a blue shirt and jeans appeared to have a wound on his head.
Camino De Estrella, 300 Block (1:52 p.m.)
A woman said someone was destroying her property.
Canada, 100 Block (9:33 a.m.)
Someone was continuously pushing a car alarm button.

A caller said a man was lying in the middle of the street.

Avenida Cordoba, 300 Block (11:23 p.m.)
A man was seen throwing items around the residence while screaming and talking to himself.
El Camino Real, 1800 Block (9:08 p.m.)
A man came into a store and was bleeding. He told the caller he had been battered.
Avenida Victoria, 600 Block (8:29 p.m.)
Police were called to reports of three people carrying three women’s handbags.
El Camino Real, 800 Block (7:09 p.m.)
Police were called to check on a reportedly drunken woman who was stumbling while carrying a baby.

A post office truck was reported “abandoned” with an open door.

Police were called to a man hiding in the bushes.

A caller said their neighbor was sending them threatening text messages.

A man was sitting in a white Toyota Prius in the middle of the street. A 36-year-old sheet metal professional was arrested in the incident and has since been released.

Someone had thrown broken chairs outside.

Someone had punched their friend in the face.

A 26-year-old man whose occupation was listed as Marine was arrested for vandalism charges.

A mother and her son were seen panhandling.

A man said he woke up to his garage being burglarized.
