Monday, August 22

DISTURBANCE

El Camino Real, 500 Block (7:25 a.m.)

A man was found sleeping under the stoop.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES

Via Barracuda, 600 Block (3:04 a.m.)

A woman said someone was knocking on the door and then running away. She said this occurred four times within an hour.

DISTURBANCE-MECHANICAL

El Portal, 100 Block (12:55 a.m.)

Police were called to reports of men using a leaf blower.

Sunday, August 21

CITIZEN ASSIST

El Camino Real/Avenida Aragon (11:33 p.m.)

A man was locked inside the business and didn’t think the owner saw him because he saw the owner walk away and lock the doors when the man turned the other way.

DISTURBANCE

Paseo De Cristobal, 300 Block (1:45 p.m.)

A 25-year-old man was sleeping on the bridge at T-Street and did not allow people to walk through.

BURGLARY IN PROGRESS

Obrajero, 2900 Block (12:25 p.m.)

A man said he has a burglary alarm that has a camera in his residence, and he could see at least one person inside the location.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON IN VEHICLE

Paseo De Cristobal, 300 Block (9:46 a.m.)

Police were called to a man who was driving a gold Honda and casing the area. He was then seen urinating on the sidewalk.

Saturday, August 20

DISTURBANCE

Avenida Pico/Camino Celosia (10:43 p.m.)

Teenagers were seen pulling their pants down and running across the street while screaming.

DISTURBANCE

Avenida Del Poniente, 100 Block (9:03 p.m.)

People were seen breaking up a box mattress in a parking lot.

DISTURBANCE

Via Solona/Calle Sarmentoso (5:35 p.m.)

Parents at a soccer game were being verbally aggressive. The parents were ejected from the game and stood behind a fence, threatening to assault the other teams’ families.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES

Camino Tierra Grande, 300 Block (3:53 p.m.)

Police were called to the park for someone who “must be a transient since his clothes are all dirty and (his) hair (was) all messed up,” the caller said.

DISTURBANCE

Avenida Magdalena/Avenida Crespi (12:41 p.m.)

Three men described as vagrants were in front of the store throwing water at customers and refusing to leave.

Friday, August 19

VANDALISM IN PROGRESS

El Camino Real, 200 Block (9:48 p.m.)

Someone broke the front door to the business.

DISTURBANCE

Avenida Monterey/Avenida Algodon (7:24 p.m.)

A man was talking to himself and trying to flag down vehicles in the middle of the street.
