The San Clemente boys soccer team erupted for three second-half goals to claim a 3-2 victory over nationally ranked No. 7 West Orange in the opening round of the Montverde Academy Tournament on January 16.
Senior forward Bryce Kaminski netted two goals and tallied an assist to Dylan Struther’s decisive goal to push the Tritons (15-0-1) into the semifinals of the high-profile tournament.
The No. 2 ranked San Clemente will now face Coppel, the No. 1 ranked team out of Texas, today at 3 p.m. There will be a live web stream viewing of the game at Stuft Pizza in San Clemente (91 Via Pico Plaza).
