The Stoke-O-Rama is celebrating its fifth straight year of STOKE thanks to the benevolent support of the Positive Vibe Warriors Foundation. PVW Foundation is a charitable organization that raises funds to assist communities with youth water safety programs and ocean education.

With support from longtime sponsor, Vans, the brothers have established the community-based surfing celebration Stoke-O-Rama, with past events held in Huntington Beach, and Makaha Beach, Hawaii. Stoke-O-Rama is a free, kids only event, with age divisions spanning “12 and under” all the way down to the crowd favorite, “8 and under- pops and pups” division. The Stoke-O-Rama is an event to capture the spirit of fun with friends. It is a day at the beach with the family enjoying competition and seeing the community.
An average of $10,000 per event has been graciously donated through sponsors each year, and this year’s net proceeds will be continued to be donated directly to the San Clemente Junior Lifeguards Association to be given as scholarships for kids to participate in Jr. Lifeguards, swim lessons, and education about ocean safety.
“Every year we look forward to the Stoke-O-Rama day in San Clemente. The level of surfing is so high within the kids, its awesome to see them hanging out together on the beach and enjoying the camaraderie of friendship. I can’t believe this is our 5th year getting to be a part of this event and I can’t wait for October 8th to roll around.” says one of the three brothers Dane Gudauskas
Born and Raised in San Clemente, the Gudauskas brothers have always embraced their upbringing by the ocean. The Gudauskas brothers felt inspired to share their childhood opportunities in the ocean with the generation of tomorrow.
“Being able to hold an event in our hometown is the best part for us. San Clemente has given us so many opportunities with surfing. The community is incredible and we are so glad to be helping give back to the kids coming up” – Patrick Gudauskas
The Gudauskas’ hope to continue to spread the STOKE, raising funds for the Positive Vibe Warriors Foundation by growing the Stoke-O-Rama events to various regions across United States.
