The city of San Clemente announced public swim at the Ole Hanson Beach Club (OHBC) will begin Friday, Oct. 21.
“To celebrate this exciting event and welcome back all local swimmers, the City is pleased to offer free swim at the beach club for patrons for a limited time and special operating hours through December 2016,” according to a press release from the city. “The pool will be open to the public, Monday through Friday 2-6 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Please be advised, this schedule may be subject to change due to prescheduled events at the beach club.”
Official operating hours for the pool will be reviewed at the upcoming Beaches, Parks & Recreation Commission meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at City Hall, Council Chambers, 100 Avenida Presidio. The recommendations will be considered by City Council at a future meeting.
