The San Clemente Military Family Outreach will host its Starry Starry Night variety show October 29. Headliner is Wayne Cotter, a nationally known comic who was nominated as Best Standup Comedian at the American Comedy Awards. Performers also include pianist David Dunford and tribute singer Steve Roth presenting his “best of Neil Diamond” stylings. The show opener will feature teenage soloists from the 2011 Orange County high school Stars of Tomorrow competition sponsored by South Coast Singers – Emma Werderman, Shannon Tweed, Taylor Carol and Abigail Schwartz.
The ninth annual show is a fundraiser to provide Thanksgiving dinners for needy Marine families at Camp Pendleton. The outreach also provides a giveaway of gifts in December and year-round assistance to struggling military families.
Starry, Starry Night is 7 p.m. and doors open at 6:15 p.m. A snack bar will also be open. Tickets are $35 for reserved seats and $25 for open seating. To buy tickets, visit, call 949.492.2537 or go in person at 2001 Calle Frontera, San Clemente.
