Walk the Plank—With a Smile: Junior Lifeguards Take Traditional Jump Off Pier

As part of their rite of passage as Junior Lifeguards, children take the annual jump from the Pier, about 25 feet off the edge of the middle of the boardwalk.

Lifeguards are in the water to await the students who drop down and make a large splash.

Junior Lifeguards session II begins July 5 and session III begins July 25.
